We in the UCC LGBT Society would like to give a warm welcome to all freshers beginning in UCC this week. The society committee is busily preparing this year’s programme of events and we hope to make it oen of the best years the society has ever seen- but we need your help to do it.
We’ve finalised the first few events for this year. The flyer distributed in this year’s fresher’s packs has details on our inaugural Coming Out Week which beings on Wednesday 24th September with a pizza party/ introductory meeting in Electrical Engineering Building room L3 at 8pm, which will be our base for the year. We hope to see as many of you there as possible!
Before all that though, we’ll be present at the Fresher’s Fest this weekend with a stall where you can get more information on the society and meet us in person. Then on Societies Day on Wednesday, we’ll have another stall where we’ll all be on hand to offer you all manner of goodies and information on the society.
