Guinea Pigs Required!

guinea-medium

Consider this a primer for the flurry of mental-health related events we’re planning.

You know all those annoying Allstudents emails we all get begging us to fill out surveys for irritating, inconsequential and pointless undergraduate research projects? Well, this is nothing like that.

We’ve been asked by a research team in Trinity College Dublin (boo, hiss!) to give some assistance to their research project. It aims to examine men’s roles and well-being in Ireland today, through focus groups, interviews, and surveys. It’s the survey bit that they’re asking us for our help with. They want to survey all kinds of men (sorry girls) on their lifestyle and well-being, and they’re looking to get a sample of the LGBT population to fill out the survey. Which is where we come in. We’re encouraging as many society members to fill this out.

It’s largely a multiple-choice survey, and it’s entirely anonymous.

The survey is available online at http://tinyurl.com/bg2cya

Thanks!

Penny for your thoughts

thinker-medium2

Well, that’s technically a lie. We’ve no pennies. But we still want to know what you think. As we move into the final stretch for the society’s activities this year, we want to ask you:

-Any suggestions for events we can hold before the college year is out?

-Anything we’ve done well this year?

-And stuff we’ve fallen down on.

Use the form after the jump, and you can submit your replies entirely anonymously.

Remember, we exist to serve the LGBT community within UCC. If we’re not doing that, then we’re failing you! We’re open to any and all suggestions to make it better.
