Karaoke This Wednesday
Hey all,
Sincere apologies for the short notice of this update.
This Wednesday 4th March we’re going to let our hair down for a good ol’ karaoke session in the Mardyke Bar. We’re booked in for 8pm sharp so you can either meet us there or we’ll be walking in from the main entrance to the students’ centre – you can meet us there at 7.30pm if you’d rather.
All are welcome.
In other news:
-We’ll be going from the ridiculous to the sublime later in the month with the presentation of the inaugural UCC LGBT Society Human Rights Award to Ailbhe Smith on Tuesday 24th March. Watch this space for more details very shortly.
-We’re also planning our annual ‘Goscars’ awards ceremony as well as very special collaboration with Journosoc involving two of Cork’s best-known DJs.
-Also, our AGM is coming up shortly, and every position will be contested by ballot. Once again, details on nominations, closing dates and election procedure will be forthcoming in the near future.

All are welcome, and particularly welcome are those who have yet to attend a society event- whether out of shyness, lack of time, or whatever- we’d love to meet you. We’re a nice group- honest!
