Campaigns and Human Rights Officer/Vice Auditor: Laura Harmon
Hi, my name is Laura Harmon and I’m responsible for conducting the campaigns of our LGBT Society for 2010/2011. My aim this year is to revitalise the role of Campaigns Officer in our LGBT Society and work hard to carry out effective campaigns throughout the year.
In addition to this, I will also be organising our annual Human Rights Award, whereby we select a person or persons from Ireland whom we feel deserve recognition for their work in the field of human rights, particularly the human rights of LGBT people.
I am also the LGBT Rights Officer for the Students’ Union. I’d be delighted to hear from you if you would like to offer your input on campaigns or if you would like to get involved. I hope you have a great year as a member the LGBT Society this year
